May Showers Bring June Flowers

The weather this year here in the Ozarks has been strange. Winter hung around longer then usual and now we are being drenched with too much rain!! The warm, humid air has given my gardens a good start but we need more sun and less rain now!!! The Hydrangeas have buds just waiting to burst open. The peonies have already bloomed, the roses are blooming, a few day lilies and it won't be long before the Crype Myrtles bloom. We've planted several new varieties this year and we already have our Tomato plants planted and staked. Cherry tomatoes are my favorite! Yum Yum!! Now if the sun will just make its presence more regularly it will grow.

  1. Just beautiful Sherry. I enjoyed the slide show. I didn't know you had horses too. Was the colt yours? What an idyllic life you have. No wonder you guys create such wonderful art. You have such inspiration! I'm following so I can see more of your garden. Thanks for sharing it. Hugs, Tammy

  2. Gorgeous! You definitely have a green thumb - I bet your whole hand is green! Thank you for stopping by my blog & entering my give-away! The next couple posts are even more interesting in regards to cemeteries.
    Good Luck!
